Alvin Toney, a Navy veteran who served 23.5 years, retired as Chief Petty Officer and turned his finance expertise into a passion for helping others. He founded BST Realty and Mortgage Inc., Cay-Dar Development Services, Inc., and AGT Property Management, Inc., and launched a lending company in 2006 to help unlicensed individuals achieve their financial goals. Alvin is a committed advocate for veterans, helping establish VAREP chapters and earning its Founders Hall of Fame Award. He also led efforts to boost Black homeownership as President of the Inland Empire Association of REALTIST. In 2018, he founded the NID-Housing Counseling Agency Riverside/San Bernardino Counties to provide foreclosure prevention, down payment assistance, and more. Guided by his mottos, “Changing lives, one home at a time” and “Everyone should have two homes,” Alvin is dedicated to building family legacies through homeownership.
